What is iTunes?
iTunes is a digital media player application developed by Apple Computer for playing and organising digital music and video files. The program 'iTunes' is also an interface to manage the content on Apple's iPod digital media players. Additionally, iTunes can connect to the iTunes Store in order to download purchased digital music, music videos, television shows, iPod games and feature length films.
iTunes software is best used with the Apple iPod to organise your mp3's on your computer, tag them with artist information, convert CDs to mp3's and then transfer your chosen mp3 tracks between your computer and iPod.
